St Mary's Books is proud to present this near-complete run of the DH Gazette, containing volumes 1-8, 10, 14 and 15, comprising the period August 1926-April 1927, June 1927, June 1928 and July 1928. Bound in beige, brown, orange, and green paper, these paperback gazettes feature the DH logo in navy ink on their covers, and each contain an overview of the recent operations and developments at the De Havilland company and aerodrome, accompanied by black and white photographs. This set is also accompanied by a July 1929 Volume 2 Number 3 of "The DH Gazette", with a charming white paper cover featuring a black and white photograph of a DH aeroplane, this paperback edition contains 40 pages of text, similarly peppered with black and white photographs. Within this set, one also finds Vol. 2 No. 1, Vol. 2 No. 2, Vol. 2 No. 4, and Vol. 3 No. 1 of the Canadian De Havilland Gazette, as well as other assorted items of ephemera including newspaper clippings and two 1957 editions of Enterprise. The items in this collection are all in very good condition - though there may be some bumping to the edges, the odd small tear, and some minor offsetting due to rusting staples - all of these imperfections are consistent with the age of the copies, and the items in this collection are nevertheless well-preserved given their age and rarity. "Near-Complete Run of Early DH Gazettes" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
