Inside, past the marbled free endpapers, one finds 160 pages of text, supplemented by whimsical black ink illustrations and engravings. Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to an account which encapsulates the trials, triumphs, and technological advances in contemporary aeronautics. This copy is in good condition, with some minor bumping to the corners and edges, a Latymer school paste-down on the front free endpaper, some splitting at the hinges and yellowed pages, it remains nevertheless well-preserved given its age and rarity.
