Housed in a later half bright red cloth binding with red, yellow and green marbled boards, this hardback book contains 300 pages of french language text, peppered with whimsical black ink illustrations and engravings. Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to a celebration of the history of ballooning. This copy is in very good condition - though there is some minor wearing along its edges, some bumping to the corners, an institution bookplate on the front free endpaper, and some yellowing and foxing throughout the book, it nevertheless remains well preserved given its age and rarity. "Les Aerostats" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
