Edition: First Edition

St Mary's Books is proud to present this first edition of "Wings for Tomorrow", signed by the authors John W. R. Taylor and Maurice F. Allward, and dedicated to Lord Brabazon of Tara who wrote the foreword for the book. Housed in its original black dustjacket featuring striking bright red lettering and an illustration of an aeroplane in flight, this hardback book is bound in blue cloth with silver gilt lettering to the spine. Inside, one finds 112 pages of text, complimented by black and white photographs, telling a story which "stokes the fires of controversy" by ensuring that "people talk about flying boats even if they cannot fly in them". This copy, and its original dustjacket, are in very good condition. Though there is some minor scuffing and a small closed tear to the top edge of the dustjacket, the book itself remains well-preserved, with few notable blemishes or imperfections. "Wings for Tomorrow" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
