St Mary's Books is proud to present this incomplete set of original "Bill Barnes Air Trails" magazines from 1935 and 1936. Bound in paper with their characteristic vibrant and exciting Frank Tinsley illustrations on the cover, each magazine contains "Bill Barnes" pulp fiction novels, instructions on model aeroplanes, and features from several contemporary writers. These copies stem from the period in which the magazine was named "Bill Barnes Air Trails", marking its distinct focus on pulp fiction, and reduced emphasis on real-life developments in aviation. This incomplete set contains the October issue from 1935 and the February, April, August, and December issues from 1936. Each copy within this set is in good condition - though there is some slight bumping to the corners and edges, the pages have yellowed, and some sections of the spine may be missing, in addition the October 1935 has a loose page - nevertheless, the survival of these scarce volumes remains remarkable. This selection of original "Bill Barnes Air Trails" from 1935 and 1936 is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
