St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1980 first edition of "Testing Years" signed by the author, Roland Beamont, and dedicated to his friend Alec, who, it seems wrote a review of the book, a copy of which is enclosed. Housed in its original pictorial dustjacket dustjacket featuring photographs of the author and various aeroplanes he flew, this hardback book is bound in black cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine. Inside, one finds 160 pages of text, peppered with photographs, and detailing his fascinating 40-year career as a fighter pilot and test pilot. This copy, and its original dustjacket, are in very good condition - with few notable blemishes or imperfections other than some minor pencil annotations throughout the copy from the reviewer, the book appears otherwise as-new. "Testing Years" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
