Each paperback programme is handsomely presented with decorative borders, detailed illustrations, and black and white photographs, occasionally in cut-outs. Within this set, one finds a 29th July 1911 "Programme of Mr Grahame White's Benefit to Vedrines" signed by Grahame White, followed by the Official Programmes for - 1912 - 25th-27th May, 8th June, 22nd June, 29th June, 6th July, 13th July, 20th July, 27th July, 3rd Aug, 10th Aug, 24th Aug, 31st Aug, 7th Sept, 21st Sept, 5th Oct, 12th Oct, 19th Oct, 26th Oct, 2nd Nov. 1913 - 21st-24th March, 29th March, 19th April, 26th April, 3rd May, 10th-12th May, 17th May, 24th May, 31st May, 20th Sept, 25th Oct, 8th Nov, 20th Dec. 1914 - 9th-14th April, 18th April, 25th April, 16th May, and 20th June. This fascinating slice of history is in very good condition - each of the programmes have been well-preserved, with some minor bumping to the corners, some weakness at the hinges, and some offsetting from rusting staples, and minor yellowing and foxing. This fantastic set of London Aerodrome Official Programmes for the years 1911-1914 are looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
