St Mary's Books is proud to present this March 1920 Second Edition of "Aviation & Insurance: Notes for Underwriters" signed by the authors, Hugh Lewis and Captain Gwilyn Hugh Lewis, and dedicated to Sir Sefton Brancker, a pioneer of British civil aviation and Captain Gwilyn Hugh Lewis' superior officer whilst he was a WW1 fighting ace. Bound in quarter white cloth with beige boards decorated with black ink lettering and a charming illustration of aeroplanes and dirigeables, this hardback book contains 60 pages of text. Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to a chronicle of the various risks associated with flight, designed to aid insurance underwriters who may have otherwise had limited experience or understanding of the realities of contemporary aviation. This copy is in very good condition - there is some minor bumping to the corners and edges, as well as some minor foxing to the interior pages, however the copy remains bright and readable. "Aviation and Insurance" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
