Edition: First Edition
Published By: Aeronautics Press
St Mary's Books is proud to present this two volume set of "Aeronautics", published in 1912 by the Aeronautics Press, New York. Bound in red cloth with gold gilt lettering to their spines, these hardback editions contain January-May/June 1912 (Volume One), and July-December 1912 (Volume Two). Within the pages of these periodicals, the reader is treated to technical diagrams, black and white photographs, and of course lengthy articles concerning the contemporary state of early aviation. These books are in good condition - the cloth is worn on the top right corner and along the spine on the first volume, and along the spine on the second volume. Both volumes have War Office stamps and paste-downs on their front free endpaper, and on the first title page of each volume, alongside some miscellaneous ink stains - highlighting that these volumes once belonged to the Ministry of Aviation Central Library. Despite this, the remainder of each of the pages are bright, clean and readable, with few notable blemishes or imperfections. "Aeronautics" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
