St Mary's Books are proud to present this October 1908 edition of "Aeronautics: The American Magazine of Aerial Locomotion". Bound in its original bright red paper covers featuring a black and white photograph of some aviators embarking on a balloon journey, this paperback edition contains 47 pages of text, peppered with contemporary black and white photographs, diagrams, advertisements, and more. Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to an insight into the world of early aviation - the developments, shared knowledge, and opinions that were prevalent at the time. This copy is in good condition - there is a significant missing piece to the right bottom corner of the cover, and the covers have detached from the interior pages. The paper on the spine has worn and there is some offsetting from the rusting staples - however, the interior remains bright, clean and readable, and the red ink cover is vivid. "Aeronautics" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
