St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1937 illustrated edition of "Letters from a Flying Officer" by Rothesay Stuart Wortley. Housed in a charming illustrated dustjacket, this hardback book is bound in teal cloth with navy ink lettering and an illustration of an aeroplane on the cover. Inside, one finds i-xii and 207 pages of text, peppered with contemporary black and white photographs, bringing to life the author's real-life wartime experiences on which he based this fictional diary. This copy is in very good condition - though the original dustjacket has suffered significant scuffing along its corners and edges, and significant losses to the top and bottom edges of the spine - the book remains well-preserved. There is some very minor bumping to the corners, and some minor stains on the cover, an inscription and some foxing on the free endpaper - but the copy is otherwise bright, clean and readable. "Letters from a Flying Officer" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
