Housed in its original pictorial dustjacket featuring a black and white photograph of the Squadron surrounded by bright red lettering, this hardback book is bound in bright blue cloth with white ink lettering to the spine. Inside, one finds 116 pages of text, peppered with original black and white photographs. Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to an account of Squadron 303's involvement in the critical days of September 1940, "and how a handful of dauntless Polish airmen, co-operating with the R.A.F. in British Hurricaines, helped to inflict the first decisive defeat of the German Luftwaffe". This copy is in very good condition - though there is some minor bumping and tearing to the price-clipped dustjacket, and some minor foxing throughout the book - this title nevertheless remains well-preserved. "Squadron 303" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
